Yes No Indifferent View results 2007: South West Christian Youths Back Marwa 12.05.2004  Lagos The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), South West at the weekend declared its readiness to support the 2007 presidential ambition of former Lagos State Administrator, Brig. Gen. Muhamed Marwa. The body, at an interactive session with the former administrator in his Lagos home noted that Nigeria needs God fearing, humane and competent leadership in 2007. The National Secretary of the body, who led the team, Deacon Victor Odabor told Marwa that the interaction session was necessary because his group would not want to be associated with those who are aspiring to enthrone incompetence and problem in Nigeria. "We need to emphasised that this meeting rather than serve as an endorsement of your aspiration for the coveted office, it will serve to assess your readiness to lead the nation. "We are being careful not to be part of any group or individuals that will enthroned problem in Nigeria after much suffering in the face of poor leadership", Odabor said. Deacon Odabor Identified leadership as the major problem confronting Nigeria as a nation, noting that if the Country must ,move forward, Nigerians must "resolve to work hard in enthroning a competent, God fearing and humane president in 2007". He noted that the meeting with Marwa came about as a result of what the group have heard about his credentials and commitment to selfless service.  Deacon Odabor praised the achievement of marwa administrator of Lagos.
