MONDAY , DECEMBER, 6, 2004           Impersonators on prowl Kano pensioners warned By Aliyu Yusuf Security agents and chairmen of Nigerian Union of Pensioners of the 44 local government councils in Kano state, have been advised to be extra vigilant on some impersonators who claim to pursue the arrears of pensioners of the councils. This information was contained in a release signed by the president, Kano state branch of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners, Alhaji Aminu Ahmad Kwalli. He lamented that some dismissed pensioners who parade themselves to the local government councils in the state claim to pursue the arrears of pensioners thereby collecting some money from them for the service. Alhaji Kwalli frowned at the attitude of the impersonators, saying that its union will not condone it, warning that whoever is caught will be dealth with accordingly. He added that Shekarau�s administration has been paying the arrears of the pensioners as promised therefore, the union will not allow such detractors to sabotage the efforts of the government.
