Shekarau hail over youth empowerment

THE Kano state governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, has been commended for his efforts towards youth empowerment scheme and the provision of capital to vocation skills graduands with the view to wiping out unemployment among the people in the state.

The commendation was made by a Kano- based businessman in Kofar Wambai market Alhaji Ado Abdullahi Kunya, while speaking to Daily Triumph in his office over the week this he said will help in no small measures in making our youths more useful to themselves and the community in general.

He also expressed appreciation on the step taken by Shekarau's administration objective of keeping Kano clean, but also provide jobs for thousands of unemployed men and women in the state.

This, he said other state governors should emulate a healthyenvironment for their people.

Other areas worthy of commendation he stated are roads constructions.

On the agricultural sector, he said the administration in the during the raining season distributed fertilizer to the farmers at the right time so as to boost food production in the state.

Alhaji Kunya said that from the inception of Malam Shekarau's, administration to date, it had been enjoying the blessing, good will and sympathy of both indigenes and non-indigenes.

He then advised the governor Malam Shekarau to continue to accommodative of constructive criticisms from the opposition as most of them do so because of selfish interest, and called on the entire people of Kano state to continue supporting the administration.
