MONDAY , DECEMBER, 6, 2004           Society marriage:Bello Bayero gives out daughter By ALIYU UMAR HUNDREDS of people from all walks of life have over the weekend converged at the residence of Alhaji Bello Isa Bayero, to witness the wedding Fatiha of his daughter Malama Habiba (Ummie) and Mahmood Halilu Chiroma (Modi). Among the influential personalities who graced the occasion were the former head of state general Muhammad Buhari, Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Rimi the fist executive governor of Kano state and former communication minister, professors Dandatti Abdulkadir, Munzali Jibril, Tijjani Ismail, Wamban Kano Alhaji Abbas Sunusi and a number of district heads. Others include the Triumph's managing director, Alhaji Mahmoud Adnan Audi, Alhaji Wada Waziri, Air Vice Marshal Muktar Muhammad, Alhaji Ahmad Zago and many others. The wedding Fatiha was presided over by the Wazirin Kano, Sheikh Isa Waziri who announced the sum of N50,000 as the dowry given by the groom through his delegate. The Wazirin Kano prayed for a prosperous life for the coupled and far the peace and tranquility to reign in the country.
