ANPP is united, says Gwarzo

By Abdullahi Yakubu

THE Director Research, Planning and Documentation of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Dr. Musa Umar Gwarzo has said that his party is adequately consolidated and what is seen as internal squables within the party revolves around struggle for supremacy among some top notchers of the party in the state.

Dr. Gwarzo who dropped the hint when he called at the premises of Triumph newspapers last Thursday, said it is the desperate clamour for leadership that makes the two chairmanship contenders in the state to be at logger heads.

The director pointed out that what is happening is right for the party because politically, this shows that the ANPP is deeply rooted and is highly fixed to the ground.

He said as he believes that whenever there is competition either of relevance or supremacy to a given political party that the party waxing stronger and unbeatable in any contest.

He said he views that the struggle of the duo as a fight for sanity to reign within the party.

While commenting on the position of the state governor over the Ahmadu Zago and Muhammad Bellos issue, he said, Malam Shekarau has the right to suport whoever he likes.

He said what the people must understand is that they ought to know that Malam has the right to put interest in who becomes what in ANPP as far as Kano state is concerned.

He used the apportunity to call on the ANPP supporters to conduct themselves peacefully as well as shun anything that could be detrimental to the progress of the party.
