THE member Kano State House of Assembly representing Dala
constituency, Comrade Alhassan Uba Idris has assured his electorate on the
excution of more development projects.
He gave the assurance during an appreciation visit called
on him at the Assembly by the people of Madigawa ward of Dala ,local
government coucil.
Comrade Idris said apart from the transformer
installation at Madigawa ward, construction of additional blocks of
classrooms is underway at Bulukiya Primary School.
On the issue of a claimed silence of representatives by
the people of various constituencies in the state, Comrade Idris advised the
people to have a close contact with their representatives as this will help
in keeping them informed on the needs and goings-on in their respective
constituencies.
He futher appealed to the people of his constituency to
initiate committees of responsible and committed people that will be holding
meetings on how to promote the activities of the constituency.
�Such people will equally contribute towards making our
works a success by giving us informations and follow-ups on issues related
to their development,� he added.
Reacting on their acknowledgement about his performance
Comrade Idris said: �We should congratulate each other because you cast your
votes on us eventhough we don�t have money and other things to compete with
the then incumbent power,� he stressed.
Ealier, the chairman of the delegation, Malam Bashir
Jibrin had expressed his satisfaction over the performance of Hon. Idris in
the House, adding that he is one who deserves commendation for good job.
He therefore prayed to Allah to assist him in discharging
his duties well, hoping that the member will have another chance to serve
his people more.
Also speaking, the vice chairman of ANPP, Dala Malam
Aminu Sani Sanka, said they find it necessary to identify with the good
works of the member, believing that they are ready to correct him whenever
he goes wrong
Malam Sani Sanka added that Comrade Idris is the only
person who initiated a water project in the constituency as well as helping
the party and its members.
In his brief speech, the councillor of health in Dala
local government, Malam Jibrin Musa Jibrin (aka Uncle), discribed Hon. Idris
as the father of ANPP because of his contributions in reconciling the party
members wheneveer there is misunderstanding among them.
He, therefore, called on the members to maintain the
tempo, hoping that this will serve as a stepping stone toward his progres in
life.
