Indigenes Commend Fayose

Ekiti State Indigenes living in America under the leadership of a legal luminary, Mr Ose Ogunkorode, has commended the state Governor, Ayo Fayose for executing various multi-billion naira projects that touched the lives of the people positively. Speaking during a visit to the governor in his office in Ado-Ekiti, Ogunkorode said indigenes of Ekiti in the US are highly impressed about road constructions, housing projects, poultry project and other developmental programmes of the administration. He appealed to Fayose to continue with the project and ensure that they are not abandoned, especially the dualisation of Ado-Ekiti township road to improve the living condition of the people. According to him, the 200 housing units, water construction along Ado-Ekiti/Afao-Ekiti road go a long way in decongesting the state's capital by providing accommodation for people in the outskirt. He also advised the governor to supervise properly the multi-million naira poultry project located in the 16 local governments, saying efforts should be geared towards sustaining it. He appealed to the people of the state to support the administration to enable more people benefit from the dividends of democracy, especially those in the rural areas. He also advised Nigerians to concentrate on development of private initiatives in developing the country, while government should intensify efforts in providing necessary infrastructure that will better the lots of the people.
