WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2004           Agassi urged to make US comeback Andre Agassi could still make a dramatic return to the United States Davis Cup team, according to captain Patrick McEnroe. Following the USA's final defeat to Spain, McEnroe said he was hopeful the 34-year-old would play in 2005. "For Andre, the door is always open," said McEnroe.   "He's never completely shut the door, at least to me. "As long as he's still out there competing at the level he's at, I'm going to keep asking." Agassi stopped playing for the US four years ago to focus on Grand Slams, and it is now nine years since the Americans won the Davis Cup. "It's difficult to dominate for any country, but it's certainly too long for the US to not have won one," said McEnroe.
