WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2004           Chairman traders assoc. hails Shekarau�s accountability THE chairman of traders association, Kumbotso local government area in Kano state, Alhaji Murtala Sa'ad, has described governor Shekarau's administration as an accountable one with a vision for its rural populace. Speaking to Daily Triumph in an exclusive interview, Alhaji Murtala, explained that shekarau administration is above board and has been rendering good governance to the people. He also believed that governor Ibrahim Shekarau, is a man who is absolutely good, honest, and accountable at managing the state resources. The marketers however enjoined the people of the state to join hands with the administration to enable it success. Commenting on Mariri market, the businessman commended the state governor for executing road in the market and therefore appealed to Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, to use his office and provide them with drainages in the market. The trader assured government continued cooperation by its members and urged individuals and organisation to assist the administration to successed. Alhaji Murtala also opined that governor Shekarau since his election has achieved a lot in various aspect of human endeavour. Some of the areas, governor Shekarau deserved commendation according to him, include roads network, education, health and rural transformation.
