THE chairman of Dambatta local government
council, Alhaji Musa Alassan has commissioned five junior secondary school
in the area
The schools commissioned included Junior
Secondary School, market, Junior Secondary School, Saidawa, Junior Secondary
Schools and Dambatta (Model) Junior Secondary School respectively.
Alhaji Alassan also urged parents and teachers
in the area to be loyal in discharging their responsibilities and he also
called on students to be good ambassadors, hardworking and dedicated in
their studies.
The chairman also revealed, that the council
had provided, materials in the schools to the area and assured that his
council would continue to give all necessary assistance to them in order to
achieve desired goal.
On his part, the councilor of Saidawa ward,
Alhaji Faruk Liman, donated 5,000 exercise books to both primary and junior
secondary schools in the ward.
The donation of the books was to motivate
parents to send their children to schools on time.
Alhaji Abdul'azeez Alassan from zonal education
office, Dambatta, assured that the ministry of education would provide the
schools with teachers, desks, chairs and other teaching materials, so as to
promote education in the area.
Alhaji Alassan explained that the Kano state
government, under ministry of education, has done a lot to boost education
in the state.
He said already Kano state government has
employed teachers under teachers services board, to teach in the schools
with a view to promoting qualitative education state.
In his vote of thank, the village head of
Gwanda, Malam Abba Hamza commended Dambatta local government council on its
effort to boost education in the area.
The village head also used the opportunity to
expressed appreciation over the motor cycles distributed to them by the
council.
