Last Updated: Monday, December 13th, 2004 HOME | Previous Page OGSEP: Latest joker from Daniel’s pack It is an open secret that the Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel is delivering democratic dividends with acronyms:OGEGEP, OGROMA, OSAMCA, OGRUMED, ORUWA, GATOIL and GATEWEM are some of the acronyms currently doing wonders in the lives of indigenes of Ogun State. The latest acronym is ‘OGSEP’, the Ogun State Electrification Project. OGSEP, is now lighting up the streets of Ogun State slowly and steadily. Not only that, the poles of the street lights are being repainted while electricity bulbs, dead for decades, are being replaced with new ones. The result is a beautiful well-lit State where darkness and evil deeds have no hiding place. In a nutshell, this is a metaphor for the wonderful performance of Governor Daniel who has been reawakening all sectors of the State and lifting all our hopes in a wonderful quiet way. The prevalent feeling in Ogun State now is that of a State being governed in words, and in deeds.
