MONDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2004           Gwarzo chairmann commended on education THE chairman of Gwarzo local government of Kano state Engr. Abdullahi Muhammad, has been commended for repositioning the educational sector in the council. A chieftain of All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) in the local government Alhaji Sanusi Getso, made the commendation while speaking in an interview. Getso, explained that the measures put in place by the chairman to redeem the education sector in the council were worthy of emulation. The APP chieftain said that the general renovation of primary schools and provision of instructional materials schools would boost learning among the pupils. He also noted with appreciation that the council has provided furniture to the schools and has been awarding scholarship to its students in tertiary institutions.
