WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2004           Councillor reminds JGSG on road JIGAWA state government has again been advised to construct a feeder road to link Garki-Jangari-Tagwaye up to Muku ward in Garki local government area of the state. The councillor representing Rafin-Marke ward, Alhaji Ado Mohammad Tagwaya made the reminder while speaking to our reporter. He said the plea became necessary in order to minimize the hardship being faced by the inhabitants of the area. Alhaji Ado Tagwaye also called on Jigawa state water initiative committee under the commissioner of water resources, Alhaji Ado Sani Kiri, to construct new hand pumps at Kuttu, Fadi-datsira to address the acute shortage of potable drinking water facing them. The councillor further stated that numerous developmental projects had been executed in all polling units under his constituency which included construction of new mosques, repairs of dilapidated ones, purchase of plot for use as grave yards among of others. Meanwhile in another development the councillor representing Muku ward of Garki local government area in Jigawa state Alhaji Lawan Mohammad Babande, has commended chairmen of polling units for their dedication and transparency in dealing with the money entrusted them. Hon. Lawan Babande said new mosque was constructed at Kofar Maiunguwa in Babande village, while another one was constructed at Muku and Kekau.
