Be good ambassadors phamacists association tells members in govt

THE chairman of National Association of the Pharmaceutical Technologists and Pharmacy Technician of Nigeria Kano State branch, Malam Mohammad Mahmoud Umbara, has advised their members appointed by the present administration to be good ambassadors of their profession.

He gave the advised at dinner party organized by the association to honour some of their members who secured political or elected appointments.

The chairman added that the pharmacists have vital role to play in the development of health sector, therefore advised them to do everything possible to improve the standard of the profession adding that the association will continue its monthly meeting, with the view to encourage its members toward participation.

Malam Mahmoud Umbara, their called on the pharmacists in all local government areas to organized a forum that will enlighten the people as well as the local government staff on the contribution of pharmacy technicians with in their areas.

To the appointees, the chairman advised should consider their representation as great challenge, and urged them to assists the association in all direction improve the standard of the profession.

Also speaking the representatives of medical and health workers Union of Nigeria Kano state council comrade Jogana, commended the association for its concern to the welfare of the members, and urged the members to continue to cooperate with the association in order to move the union forward.

He then announced a donation of five thousand Naira to the association, adding that the union will continue to assist its sister health workers in order to improve the standard of health sector in the state.

Speaking on behalf of the recipients, the Takai local government secretary, Alhaji Sani Adamu Zuga, commended the association executives for their uplifting the standard of the association at all cost, adding that the recipients will continue to support the association to achieve its meaningful projects.

Those honoured includes Idris Mustapha Basaye, councillor Ya�u Barau ward in Dawakin Kudu, Sani Adamu Zuga Takai local government secretary, Nura Abdul Namairage former councillor for Mazugal in Dala local government, as well as Ismaila Sanusi councillor Gwammaja ward Dala local government council.
