FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2004           Gov Sani reshuffles cabinet From Farouk Adamu Yakasai, Gusau Zamfara state government has announced a minor cabinet reshuffle in its executive council. According to the Director of press Alhaji Ibrahim Birnin-Magaji, the state commissioner for information Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki has now moved to the ministry of culture and tourism, while Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu Moriki the commissioner of Culture and Tourism is to take charge of the information ministry. The swapping of the two commissioners takes immediate effect. Similarly, Governor Ahmad Sani has approved the scrapping of the state ministry of science and Technology. The ministry has now been merged with the ministry of education. Also, a new commissioner has been appointed for the ministry of Budget and Economic Planning. He is Alhaji Aliyu Tukur former commissioner of science and Technology. The appointment followed the resignation of the former commissioner in the budget ministry, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu who secured appointment with NITEL as AGM.
