FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2004           Govt officials advised to emulate Shekarau GOVERNMENT officials across Kano state have been advised to be good ambassadors in discharging their duties and emulate the state governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau. Speaking exclusively to Daily Triumph an (ANPP) stalwart in the state Alhaji Buba Sulaiman, said governor Shekarau had a good legacy and urged all government officials to barrow a leap from him. The (ANPP) supporter added that government official have vital role to play in the development of the state and advised them to do everything possible to improve the standard of the people. Alhaji Buba however called on the government officials to organized a forum that will always enlighten the people they represent on government activities. He advised them that representing their people in government is a great challenge and urged them to assist people in all directions. The stalwart however commended the state government efforts in introducing societal and re-orientation programme to educate the people on governance. He reminded the people that governor Ibrahim shekarau has done a number of good job since he assumed office as governor and assured him for support and cooperation. Commenting on the leadership style of governor Ibrahim Shekarau Alhaji Sulaiman he described him as a responsive governor who always deliver goods to the people.
