FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2004           �Madobi/Kumbotso bridge ready soon� THE Madobi/Kumbotso bridge rehabilitation work would soon be completed. The site supervisors at the firm handling the projects disclosed this while briefing the council chairman of Madobi local government Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, who paid an unscheduled visit to ascertain the level of work. The supervision stated that in the next three weeks the road would be motorable as two third of the job was completed. In his response the council chairman Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, urged the contractors to speed up the completion of the projects, adding that the people were really suffering due to the breakage of the bridge. He further lamented that a journey of not more than fourty minutes would now take 2 hours from the state capital, to Madobi. Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso then expressed gratitude to the state governor Alhaji Ibrahim Shekarau, for the award of the contract to rehabilitate the bridge, and assured him the support of people of Madobi.
