Inaugurating the committee in Abuja yesterday APGA National Chairman, Chief Chekwa’s Okorie, said that the committee is mandated to determine whether some dissident groups led by Chief Victor Umeh explored all or any of the processes prescribed by APGA constitution for protest. The committee will also give the protesting group the opportunity to substantiate any or all the allegations levelled against the National Chairman of the party. The disciplinary committee will further determine whether or not the group breached any section or sections of the party’s constitutions and to explore all avenues that will ensure fair and unfettered hearing to the group. Members of the committee which consists of Umar Bello, chairman Emmauel Ogbansiegbe, secretary; Chief Benji Duru, Hon. Suleiman Suleiman Shika and Chief H.A. Obot, is mandated to submit its report on the January 10,2004. These who are to appear before the disciplinary committee according to party chairman, include Chief Victor Umeh the party National Treasurer; Alhaji Abdullahi Shinkafi the party’s National Secretary and the party’s organising secretary, Dr. Innocent Ekwu. Others are the National Youth leader Dr. Mic Adams; Deputy National publicity secretary, Alhaji Sadiq Masala: Deputy National financial secretary, Chief Chris Ndigwe deputy National Women Leader, Mrs. Ella Nwabueze and the deputy National Treasurer, Alhaji Habib Gajo. � 2004 @ Champion Newspapers Limited (All Right Reserved).
