ANPP reacts against ruling, says its onesided

From ABDUL-RAUF IBRAHIM, Abuja

AS the case filed before the Abuja Appeal Court by ANPP presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari was dismissed yesterday, Senator Usman Al-Bashir (ANPP Yobe), while challenging the court ruling accused it for not being fair to the party.

Senator Al-Bashir described the trial judges as being one-sided.

Judicial system in Nigeria is bad, therefore, those who operate within the system are also bad, so the action of the court today is not surprising, the Senator stated.

According to him, ANPP and its followers are not happy, Allah Himself is not happy too, therefore Allah will not allow them to go free without being punished.

The Senator, however, assured the partys plan to further appeal to Supreme Court for fair hearing.

Speaking also, the governor of Nasarawa state, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu (PDP governor) who expressed his happiness over the court ruling said that the best one can get from the court is what they have gotten today.

The judgement is fair since three judges supported the ruling, the one against has nothing to do with actual facts on the ground for the ruling, Governor Adamu opined.

Also challenging the ruling, the ANPP National Chairman, Chief Don Ertebet who left the court out of what he perceived as doom and devil judgement, said that the party would meet soon to determine their next action against the ruling .

He therefore reserved his comment till after their NWC meeting.

The embattled candidate/man of the moment, ANPP presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari who refused to speak to the press at the court premises however, assured to speak to the media at the partys headquarters today by 11am.
