Dangote Distributors Get Car Gifts From Cletus Akwaya in Abuja Dangote Flour Mills Limited yesterday rewarded its prime distributors with various gifts including two new Rio brand cars for their contributions to their company's growth in the 2003 trading year. The two cars were presented to a distributor identified simply as Mr. Williams and another, Mr. Emeka Ewedinma who were rated over all, as best in the Abuja regional operations of the company. Thirty two distributors in all got prizes ranging from four units of small size colour TV, 10 small size refrigerators, five medium size deep freezers, five large size deep freezers, and one 43 inches colour TV set with projector attached apart from the two cars. The presentation ceremony was the high point of the Customers Forum which held in Abuja and attended by the Deputy Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Alhaji Audu Dantata, Executive Director Government Relations, Alhaji Isa Tata, Mr. Tunde Mabogunje, Regional Executive (West) and his Abuja counter part Mr. John Esoimeme and Group Credit Controller among other top executives of the company. President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote in a speech read by Esoimeme, disclosed that the company had expanded its operations in the out gone year in all its factories in Calabar and Lagos raising production from 1,000 metric tonnes daily to 1,500 metric tones a day of flour.
