Only VIP Gate Will Be Open - Edozie 500 Policemen to be deployed From Juliana Taiwo The Head of Marketing Department in Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Mr. Enemuo Edozie has said to ensure orderliness and easy movement to the National Stadium on Saturday, only the VIP Gate would be open to convey the VIPs and the teams while the Area One Gate would be the only entrance for spectators. Edozie disclosed to THISDAY that no vehicles would be allowed to come near the parameter of the stadium and all the major road leading to the stadium would be blocked while drivers would be expected to take the diversions to and from the Area One area. He said spectators with cars are expected to make use of the car parks for a fee as private security guards have been secured by the NFA to ensure security at the car park. He also said that the would be raffle draw at the first half of the match, this he is said is to encourage the spectators to turn out in large numbers to support the Eagles. He said the outlets were tickets would be obtained would be made known today as the NFA was putting finishing touches to the arrangement. Edozie however, warned that vehicles that are parked on the road would be towed by the VIO and that 500 policemen would be deployed to provide security during the match. The NFA is also going to work hand-in-hand with the Road Safety in order to give proper directions to vehicles plying the area.
