Football fans
coming for the World Cup qualifier between Super Eagles and the Desert Warriors
of Algeria at the Abuja National Stadium would have top part with N1000, N500
and N300 to be part of the historic tie.
The Nigeria
Football Association while announcing the gate fees in Abuja Wednesday said the
White Seats would go for N1000, Upper Terraces for N500 and the Lower Terraces
for N300.
According to the
association’s Public Relations Officer, Samuel Kaalu, the sale of tickets
for the match will begin on Friday
in all designated centres in Abuja. Some of the outlets earmarked for the sale
of tickets for the World Cup qualifier, he said are all Mr. Bigs locations in Abuja,
Amigo Supermarket located at Wuse 11 and other choice supermarkets and eatries
in the city.
He said the aim of
the association was to start the sale of the tickets on Tuesday to avoid
hitches that were experienced during the last match, but has been forced to
take the last option, following the inability of an intending buyer to meet the
Tuesday deadline agreed for the payment of N10 million for the match.
