Daggash commissions HumanManager in AshakaCem By Emma Okonji Business Reporter, Lagos  Human Manager, a locally developed software for company’s payroll, human resources and pensions, has been endorsed and commissioned for use in AshakaCem Plc, a cement factory. Mr. Mohammad Daggash, an engineer and Managing Director of the company, who recently commissioned the live run of HumanManager for the management of the company’s payroll, HR and pensions challenges following the complete implementation of HumanManager modules by SystemSpecs, has commended the firm, describing the product as the best software that would enhance the company’s productivity. Daggash, who was highly impressed by HumanManager, said AshakaCem realised several years ago the importance of a reliable human capital management system that will keep it ahead of competition by delivering, in a timely manner, accurate and reliable information about it workforce.  Managing Director of SystemSpecs, Mr. John Obaro, pledged the commitment of his firm to the support of the solution and to ensure that AshakaCem continues to enjoy incremental value added service in all facets of its human capital management operation, such that it will create high impact on the company’s bottom line.  Head, HumanManager Group, Mr. Paul Ibidun, represented Obaro at the commissioning.   AshakaCem, based in Gombe State, is one of the three Lafarge Group member-companies in Nigeria that are into cement production.  The other members are WAPCO and Atlas Cement  HumanManager is an indigenous, internet-based, enterprise software, developed by SystemSpecs and running in over 200 private and public organisations.       Copyright� 2002.
