Despite our reservations about aspects of the said editorial relating to the acquisition process, which in any case was made open to all Nigerians and which high level of transparency was climaxed by live telecast of the bidding process, we choose to focus instead on your well-meaning concerns regarding the future of Daily Times. ("TimesÓ). Beyond the nostalgia of the lost glory of The Times, rest assured that the passion in Folio strategically and operationally, is to achieve quick turn around of the ailing institution and take it to completely new heights applying best standards and breaking completely new grounds. The short, medium and long term plan in this regards is of the Times to vie with and surpass existing newspapers and ultimately to become Africa's No 1 single unit interface for news and IT.
