NDDC Alerts Public on Blackmailers Rivers From Okon Bassey in Port Harcourt The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has alerted members of the public of numerous faceless groups in the region whose stock in trade is to black mail and destroy well meaning individuals and organizations in their desperate bid to extort money. The alarm came on the heels of the recent claim by a body parading itself as the Coalition of Oil Producing States that the achievement and projects of NDDC are either non-existent or exist only on television and newspapers. A statement by the Head, Corporate Affairs of NDDC, Mr. Anietie Usen which was made available to THISDAY yesterday, stressed that there is no group registered or known as Coalition of Oil Producing States. "The NDDC wants to state categorically that the so called Coalition of Oil Producing States is a group of professional blackmailers whose name and address are fictitious".
