Politicians, Others Condole Ibori On Mother's Death Delta Jaiyeola Andrews in Asaba Politicians, Government officials and Deltans yesterday besieged Oghara home of Governor James Ibori of Delta State to commiserate with him over the death of his mother, late Madam Oji Ibori. Ibori's mother dred on Tuesday after a brief illness, at the age of 88 years. Paying glowing tribute to Ibori's mother, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in the state, Barr. Fred Majemite said Madam Ibori lived a worthy and fulfilled life. Majemite who spoke to news personal contact with the Governor's mother while alive, said though she was aged 88, her death came to him as a shock. While praying that God would give those she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, Majemite stressed that the death of Governor Ibori's mother would surely leave a vacuum in him, adding that she had a great influence on the Governor's life while she was alive.
