'We're Committed to Peoples' Welfare' Kogi From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Senior Special Assistant on Media to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Abdulra-haman Wuya, has expressed government's readiness to create conducive environment for the people. Speaking with THISDAY on the on-going 500 housing units and Meme Bridge under construction, the special assistant noted that with the level of work done on those sites, Kogites would smile soon on completion. He remarked that 75 per cent of the job has been done, hoping that in the next few weeks most of the project may be completed. Wuya, who reiterated the state government's determination to improve the life of individuals, said government would continue to implement human development and empowerment programmes. He observed that the level of work done at the on-going road rehabilitation in the three senatorial districts with the specification given, stressing that work would soon be completed in the area of roads in the three senatorial districts as the contractors were determined to complete the work on time.
