EIB Storms Ikorodu As part of its strategy to offer customized banking products and services in a more conducive environment, EIB International Bank Plc has begun operations at its new, customer-friendly branch in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Located in the heart of the commercially active town, the new branch, EIB's second in Ikorodu, a statement from the bank explained, is epitomised by its accessibility and sheer ambience. It is also adequately equipped to cater for the sophisticated banking needs of its corporate customers and other high networth members of the public. Linked to EIB's newly acquired Bankmaster (RS) IT System, customers of the bank, the statement further explained, will be able to deposit and withdraw cash at the branch irrespective of where their accounts are domiciled. The Managing Director, EIB International Bank Plc, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti said the birth of the new branch signified management's commitment to the expansion of branch network with a view to placing EIB's improved services at the reach of every Nigerian. He also hinted that in a bid to increase EIB's market share, the next couple of months will witness a more dynamic pursuit of thr bank's branch network plan with the opening of branches in other locations such as Onitsha, Kano, Kaduna, Nnewi, and other parts of Lagos such as Dopemu and Victoria Island. With its fast widening network of branches across major commercial centers in the country, the bank, which was quoted, on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on September 22, 1998 has registered a strong national and international presence, the statement added.
