Abuja fans pay to watch Eagles’ training

The security operatives
drafted to provide security cover for the Super Eagles players training at the
Abuja National Stadium are making brisk business as they now collect fees from
football fans to allow them entry into the practice pitch area.
According to Daily
Independent findings, the security operatives, especially uniformed men,
collect between N50 to N100 per head to allow the fans into the stadium to
watch the Eagles train.
Those who dare the
police and refuse to part with something before entry are given the beating of
their lives and made to crawl on the ground or frog jump.
Some of the fans
who spoke to our reporter outside the stadium gate Thursday said they were
being charged N50 at each of the two gates leading into the stadium main bowl
before being allowed inside by the policemen.
