No Plan to Reshuffle Cabinet - Daniel Ogun From Toba Suleiman in Abeokuta Governor Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State at the weekend debunked in strong terms the speculations of an imminent shake-up in his cabinet. Reacting to the rumour that has since filtered round the state in the last few weeks, Daniel, who has just returned from a visit to United States of America, described such rumour as false and baseless. The governor, who asked the newsmen the source of their information, pointed out that he has no intention of dropping any member of his cabinet for now. While further allaying fears of some of his commissioners over the rumoured cabinet reshuffle, Daniel said so far he was satisfied with the performance of every member of the cabinet. Describing each member of his cabinent as committed, efficient and highly productive, Daniel added that they have all tried their best individually and collectively. However, Daniel, who noted that change was the only thing that is permanent in life, remarked that such exercise could only be carried out if necessary. He restated his commitment to turning around the fortune of the state for good, stressing that all hands should be on deck towards achieving better results. According to him, the job of making Ogun a model among other states of the federation should not be left in the hands of government alone, but required the concerted efforts of an individual, groups, politicians, religious leaders and every member of the state.
