Monarch Commends Oyinlola Osun From Hammed Shittu in Osogbo A traditional ruler in Osun State, Oba Nureni Abioye Oye -wale, has commended the State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola for his roads Construction and agricultural revolution. Oba Oyewale, who is the Olubode of Bode-Osi in Ola-Oluwa Local Govern -ment Council area of the state, said this on Friday in a chat with THISDAY in Osogbo. According to him, the opening up of Iwo - Ikonifin - Ifeodan road would go a long way in assisting the people of the area at bringing their food crops to the nearest market. He said apart from this, it would also enable them to move closer to government since they can travel with ease to the centre. Oba Oyewale, former chairman of Ola-Oluwa Local Government, said the opening of rural areas by Oyinlola would continue to be an indelible mark in the historical development of the state. The traditional ruler said recent distribution of tractors to the 30 local government councils in the state would enhance food production. He said farmers would now have access to tractors at reasonable charges, which would boost agricultural production. Oba Oyewale appealed to the farmers to avail themselves of the opportunity provided the tractors, to reduce poverty and hunger.
