Lawmaker Urges Support for Idris Kogi From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Simon Achuba has appealed to the people of Ibaji local government area of the state to support the present administration in its bid to reduce the hardship they have experienced in the last administration. Achuba, who spoke with THISDAY on the efforts put in place by Governor Ibrahim Idris to make life more meaningful for the people said socio-economic conditions of the state would be improved. Achuba, representing Ibaji Constituency said all efforts would be geared to improve socio-economic conditions of Ibaji people. He remarked that his tenure of office would be remarkable for human empowerment and political stability of the area. The Deputy Speaker also vowed that the people of the constituency will always be carried along in the scheme of things. He however solicited support for Governor Idris to enable him perform well.
