Oyo Crisis: PDP Parleys with Ladoja, Adedibu From Chuks Okocha in Abuja National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday held a peace meeting to reconcile Governor, Rasheed Adedoja, and his erstwhile political godfather, Lamidi Adedibu over the crisis affecting the party in the state. National Publicity Secretary of the party, Venatius Ikem told newsmen at the end of the talks that although the meeting was not conclusive, it was able to identify the cause of the crisis. "The main cause of the crisis between the governor and Adedibu was the plot to supplant the party structures that brought the PDP to power in the state," Ikem informed. He said another meeting would be convened with all stakeholders attending. He, however, added that governor Ladoja was advised to ensure that he accommodates all shades of opinion in the state. He disclosed that Adedibu was advised to ensure that all respects due to the governor was accorded him. No date was, however, fixed for the next meeting, which will take place in Ibadan. Also yesterday, Ogbeh held a private meeting with members of the Chris Uba-led faction in the crisis in Anambra state.
