Imo Seeks Community's Support to Fight Gas Flaring From Christopher Isiguzo, in Owerri. Imo State Deputy Governor, Chief Ebere Udeagu has appealed to Egbema Community in the state to assist the State government in its effort to tackle the problem posed by gas flaring in the area. Udeagu who made the appeal when the Egbema People's Forum paid him a courtesy call in Government House, Owerri, noted that government could only achieve its objective if the community, through their appointed representatives, entered into meaningful discussions with the oil companies operating in the area.
