Peru Fight Back, Denies Bolivia Copa America Peru, roared on by a 45,000 crowd, clawed their way back into the game in the last half hour to draw 2-2 with Bolivia in their opening match in the Copa America. Claudio Pizarro, from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, and Roberto Palacios, with a blockbuster four minutes from time, saved hosts Peru. Bolivia, bottom of the South American World Cup qualifying zone, had gone 2-0 up with a gutsy performance. Joaquin Botero pounced in the 35th minute and Lorgio Alvarez rounded careless Peru keeper Oscar Ibanez in the 57th for Bolivia's second but Peru's second half substitutions brought order into their midfield and Bolivia faded under the pressure.
