CAF League: Enyimba Boost Attack African champions Enyimba FC have strengthened their attack by signing former Israeli-based Nigerian forward Chukwudi Nworgu for their Champions League group phase matches, the club spokesman said yesterday. "Nworgu is a forceful striker and he will give us good options in the attack," Tonnex Chukwu said on phone. "We believe his experience of playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel will be useful and help us retain the trophy," he added. Nworgu has also been capped by Nigeria at senior level. Enyimba beat Egyptian club Ismaili FC 2-1 over two legs last December to become the first Nigerian club to win the trophy in the 40-year-history of the continent's prized club competition. The Nigerians play Ivorian club Africa Sport on Sunday in the commercial capital Abidjan in their opening Group A match.
