'I Won't Probe Hashidu Administration' From Saka Ibrahim in Gombe Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Danjuma Goje, has said he would not dissipate energy on the recovery of fund and properties looted by officials of the Abubakar Hashidu administration. He noted that what was important to him is the fulfilment of his campaign promises to the downtrodden people of the state. In an interview with newmen in Gombe yesterday, the governor hinted that government had commenced recovering looted funds and properties from individual, but that he would not allow such exercise to affect his performance. Said he: "I realised if I devoted all my time to the recovering of funds and properties. All those things, I have achieved I will not be able to achieve them. I will take a lot of time and that is not my priority now. "I want to put my energy and attention on what I can do on my own. But at the same time we are also taking steps to recover the looted funds and properties. If I continued recovering, I will waste my time and at the end of four years I will be judged as also non-performer." Goje explained that he preferred to be recovering the funds and property quietly than making noise. "I don't want too much publicity on this issue.
