Osun AD Warns Against Anti-Party Activities From Hammed Shittu in Osogbo Osun State chapter of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) yesterday warned its members against partaking in any of the project either aimed at installing any presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2007 polls. In a statement issued by the AD and signed by its state chairman, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, and state secretary, Hon. Adewale Afolabi, on Tuesday, threatened to sanction henceforth any members caught in the act. According to the statement, such move by the party members is in contravention of the provision of the constitution. The party who was apparently referring to those working for former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, under Vision 2007, and Project 2007, stated the party would not allow such move again so as to reposition the party towards preparing for 2007.
