Society Flays Double Standard in Anti-graft War By Andrew Ahiante Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has condemned the double standard of Federal Government over its anti-corruption crusade, saying it was disheartening that the very series issue "we preach against, we practice." The General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Society, Reverend (Dr.) Fred B. Odutola, yesterday at a press conference in Lagos to herald the 200 years anniversary of the societies worldwide in Lagos denounced the double standard. "Let those who continue to pepectuate corruption realise that if they don't change, the wrath of God will be upon them," he noted, emphasising that the society was doing its best to talk about the social malice among Nigerians, promising that it would continue to preach and fight against it till the nation is free of it. Accordingly, he called for a concerted efforts to make the nation free of the syndromme, emphasising that if there were no givers of bribe, there will be no takers. "Let us not give up the fight. It is a must for you and I. If there are no givers, there will be no takers", he said, while calling on the leaders of the nation to live by example. He said the society chose "Corruption in Society: Which Way Out?" as theme to draw public attention to the menace. Among invited guests include President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is expected to declare the symposium open at the National Centre for Women Development, Abuja and Justice Mustapha Akanbi, Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) and Bishop E.
