N127m Fraud: Oyinlola's Aides Demanded Bribe - AD From Hammed Shittu in Osogbo Furore over the alleged N127 million fraud allegation leveled against the immediate Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, yesterday took another dimension as the state Alliance for Democracy (AD) accused some top government officials of the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola government of demanding a bribe of N75 million from a consultant handling the Bola Ige house. In a statement issued by the AD in the state and signed by its Publicity Secretary, Hon. Adejare Adebisi, said it was after the rejection of the consultants to dance to the demand of the present top government officials that led to the on-going persecution of Akande by PDP government in the state. According to him, "Leading members of PDP administration requested for N50 million, N15 million and N10 million each from the consultant in that order, the request which was ignored and marked the beginning of this senseless wild goose chase by PDP government." The AD, which refused to mention the afected top government officials under the Oyinlolaa government demanded, said "we refused to comment on the trite this long not because of any other thing than our desire to allow the good people of Osun State and discering public in general sees who really is the rogue that should be stoned on the street." According to the statement, "Oyinlola himself now sees he has open a Pandora Box and ignited a fire he can no more quench.
