Cole Joins Fulham Andy Cole has signed for Fulham in a two-year deal after leaving Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer. The 32-year-old striker, who had a previous spell on loan at Fulham in 1991, cost Blackburn �7.5m when he joined from Manchester United in 2001. Cole still had a year to run on his contract with Blackburn but had been given permission to speak to Fulham. "We're delighted to have signed Andy - his pedigree speaks for itself," said Fulham boss Chris Coleman. He added: "I know he will be 100% committed every time he pulls on the Fulham shirt, and I am sure that his knowledge and understanding of the game will benefit the less experienced players around him. "Andy had a medical on Saturday and everything was fine. He joins us for training on Tuesday. "There are just one or two things that Blackburn have to sign for his release but everything has been organised and he's a Fulham player."
