Globalcom League: 3SC Fans Attack Coach, Defender Pandemonium broke out at the end of the 1-1 draw between hosts 3SC and Plateau United when fans invaded the pitch and assaulted 3SC coach Joseph Ladipupo, as well as defender Abaya Musa, who they believed cost 3SC a much needed victory. The Police, however, curtailed what could have been a large-scale riot when they dispersed the angry fans by firing teargas at them. Shooting Stars have struggled in the Premier League after winning promotion from the lower Professional League last season. And their fortunes continued to dwindle on Saturday as the team played to a lacklustre 1-1 draw with visiting Plateau United FC of Jos at the Lekan Salami Ibadan. Kola Ademola scored a fantastic opener in the 74th minute via a free kick awarded to 3SC by referee Udennaka Bebeto from Anambra State after substitute Uche Apa had been brought down. 3SC continued to press for goals before Plateau United coach Uduka Ndubusi made three vital changes which saw Johnson Akighir replacing Monday Yerima in the 78th minute of the match, also John Sabo replaced Benjamin Francis in the 88th minute, while Abayomi Okulaja left the pitch for Samuel Kuchili. The changes proved the turning point for the visitors as newcomer John Sabo got a well deserved equaliser in injury time after a solo run from the right wing outpacing 3SC left full back Abaya Musa to send Plateau United's bench into wild jubilation and inspire the fans to attack the home team.
