Wabara Alleges Plot to Disrupt Abia Visit From George Oji in Abuja Senate President Adulphus Wabara, has reiterated his allegation of plans by some people to disrupt the planned visit of members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on a fact-finding mission to Abia State by some certain persons and organisation in the state. A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Wabara, Henry Ugbolue said the senate president came to this conclusions based on security reports made available to him by highly dependable sources. Wabara who did not point accusing fingers at the governor, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu nor officials of his government, however said the plot was being hatched and funded by persons who are opposed to the speedy and amicable resolution of the political crisis in the state, particularly the on-going machinations to impeach the Deputy governor of the state, Dr. Chima Nwafor. "It has come to the notice of President of Senate as a huge shock when the Abia State governor through his Chief Press Secretary decided that he (Wabara) was referring to the Abia state governor and his officials when he warned that certain persons and organisations were planning to attack the visiting national leaders of the PDP. "Chief Wabara wishes to once again extend his profound gratitude to the national leadership of the PDP for insisting that things be done properly in Abia state.
