Adedibu-Ladoja Feud Deepens Thugs disrupt peace meeting From Ademola Adeyemo in Ibadan Efforts by leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to resolve the crisis between Governor Rasheed Ladoja of Oyo State and his former political God father, Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu may have hit the rock yesterday as supporters of the two leaders were involved in a violent clash. During the mid night clash two official drivers of Ladoja were seriously wounded. Apparently shocked by the development PDP National Chairman, Chief Audu Ogbeh described the clash as "uncivilized and barbaric". Ogbeh and members of his executive were in Ibadan in contitnuation of the peace efforts when the violence ensued. Trouble started around 12.30am yesterday when people suspected to be thugs invaded the Premier Hotel, venue of the peace meeting chanting war songs against the Governor. The protesters were said to have attempted to remove the official flag in front of Ladoja's Official Peugeot 607 while the drivers resistance sparked off violent attacks. In the process, the official driver of the governor simply Lati was injured while the spare driver Mukaila lost four of his front teeth.
