3 Nabbed over Oil Pipeline Vandalism From Onwuka Nzeshi in Warri Three suspected oil pipeline vandals were yesterday apprehended before the Joint Task Force (Operation Restore Hope) while two trucks used by the suspects for their nefarious trade have been impounded. The suspects, whose names were given as Power German, John Momodu and Kingsley Akpode, were paraded before newsmen at the headquarters of the Joint Task Force, Effurun barracks on the outskirts of Warri. THISDAY checks revealed that the suspects were caught with a truckload of dis-used pipes and another truckload of crude oil at Afisere oil location, Ughelli North Local Government area of Delta State. Public Relation Officer, Joint Task Force, Major Said Mammed, disclosed that men of the task force swooped on the suspects near the Afisere yard of the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). Hammed gave no further details but said those arrested would remain in military custody pending the conclusion of preliminary investigations.
