They were believed to be responsible for the recent cases of vandalisation of pipelines belonging to Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in the western division operation area, Delta State. The vandals are being detained at the Task Force office in Effurun. The Commander of the task force, Brig.-Gen. Elias Zamani, refused to disclose information on the arrested vandals for security reasons.
