Receiving the  Warri North Political Family led by Dr. Alex Ideh that paid him a condolence visit in Oghara over the death of his (Ibori)  mother, the governor maintained that the allocations were being reserved for the local governments which are now being run  without elected chairmen. Gov. Ibori, however, promised that election in the three Warri local government councils would be held when the atmosphere  was conducive, and appealed for understanding. “I am handling the crisis to the best of my ability and moving fully to total  reconciliation,” he said, adding: “As I move steadily towards full reconciliation once this stage is over, I would conduct a  peaceful election and install a democratic government there (Warri).” On his mother’s death, Ibori said he would perform all the Itsekiri traditional rites during the burial.   Home  |  Cover Stories  |  National Newsreel  |  Politics  |  Business  |  Sports  |  World  | Contact  | Advert Rates © 1998- 2004.
