Kwara Assembly Tasks FG on Collapsed Bridge From Tunde Sanni in Ilorin Kwara State House of Assembly has called on the Federal government to urgently rehabilitate Moro bridge, linking Kwara with Oyo State, to facilitate inter state commercial activities. acting Speaker of the Assembly, Hajia Banke Badmos, who gave the call, noted that the collapse of the bridge has affected personal and vehicular movement in the area. Badmos said the bridge, located on Ilorin-Igbeti Federal highway is a major link between Alapa in Kwara State and Igbeti in Oyo State The assembly called on the state government to intervene to relive the people of the area of the untold hardship currently being experienced. It directed its committee for Works and Transport to swing into action to ensure quick rehabilitation of the bridge. Hon Ibrahim Abdul Rasak brought the notice of the collapsed bridge to the assembly, praying for quick intervention of the lawmakers. AbdulRasak, representing Malete/Ipaiye/Oloru Constituency in Moro Local Government, said with the collapse of the bridge, the capital has been greatly hindered."
