Pacific, ACB, CDB to Sell WAEC Forms Pacific Bank, ACB International Bank Plc and CDB Trust Bank Plc have been appointed to sell application forms for the November/December 2004 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (Private) by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC). With this development, candidates who wish to sit for the examination can purchase their forms with utmost ease in any of the above stated banks' branches nationwide. A statement from Pacific Bank's Group Head for Corporate Services, Mr. Yinka Omiyale, said "the bank, which already has considerable experience in the sale of Thomas Cook's Travelers cheque, has positioned its human and material resources to meet up with the new challenge". The appointment of ACB as an outlet for the sale of WAEC forms, according to its spokesman, Mr. Igwe U. Igwe, "continues to underscore the growing confidence of the bank by the public and private sectors, multilateral and international organisations and members of the public as indicated by such other appointments attracted by the bank. " A statement from the CDB also said that "the development came about by the quality of service provided by the bank and its relevance in many area."
