Adegbite tasks Muslims on  2007 polls By 'Gbenga Faturoti, Special Correspondent, Osogbo   The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Adegbite, has urged Muslim faithfuls to develop more interest in active politics ahead of the 2007 election. He made the appeal during the interactive session to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Muslim Student Society of Nigeria (MSSN). Adegbite noted that the present lukewarm attitude of Muslims to politics would neither help the country nor Islam.
